Government Schools - progress
We talk a lotabout the education. Education for the children, who are less fortunate to get to private schools. We all feel sorry for the state of government schools in India. Particularly about the schools in Andhra Pradesh. A lot of Governments came, but the quality of Government schools has only decreased during the due course. Unfortunately everyone is not capable of paying the high fees associated with private schools. It is scary, when I heard that an average school fees, bus charges, tution fees etc for a kid would cost about 60-70% of the average Indian's income. Most of the kids, are forced to go through the government schools.
In kukatpally constituency alone there are about 8000 Kids who go to Government schools. After living for about 9 years, I am not sure where they are located and what is the state of the schools in kukatpally. Lokstatta party has taken up the survey of schools in kukatpally under the leadership of Krishna Prasad. The survey data was scrutinised and presented to the Local MLA Shri Jayaprakash Narayan. Dr. JP has taken an active part and has promised that he would meet all the Government officials in getting the necessary funds for the schools. The funds would be used to develop the infrastructure of the Government schools and a majority of local NGO's has assured that they would help the schools by means of improving the quality of education in the schools.
Dr. JP and local volunters are meeting DEO and secretary, AP State secondary education to generate the required funds.
Better Education could attribute to Better Lifestyle. This is the first instance, I would think, where an MLA and local volunters are actively striving for the betterment of lives of comman man.
Lets support JP and give COMMAN MAN A CHANCE.
