Are politicians getting what they deserve?

In 1992, After seeing Samrat ashok, I was standing near a local store, when a mad dog bit me. I was not sure of what to do, and we used to have only one hospital, which provides Rabies vaccine in Narayanguda. Luckyly thanks my aunt, who works in BHEL and my uncle who also works there, I could get my vaccination and am still alive. I need to thank them for the help they provided me during this incident.

Unfortunately, not every one is as lucky as me. This is a very sad incident which occurred in Rajahmundry. Not just this government hospital, most of the hospitals around those 4 districts did not have any rabies vaccination.

The drama State government has doing in the name of Rajiv Arogyasree should be ended right there. Atleast an person in the ranks of Minister, should have immediately met the parents and consoled them. State Government should immediately take responsibility and fire the Health Minister and make sure that the hospital system is streamlined.

Indian political history has seen prime ministers, and chief ministers, who have been blasted and their bodies were identified by the shoes they were wearing. How else would they like to be identified, to make sure that they get scared of corruption.

Why should I be blaming the politicians, when the trouble resides in US. We should be blamed for the state of system. Why cant we realize that if a person makes more money, which is not in accordance with the growth rate and we still support him.

Is it not the responsibility of individuals to make sure that these people are not elected again, when you are sure that he is corrupt?

Is is not the foolishness of US individuals to vote these politicians to office, when we are sure that they are not FIT to the position and are voting them only because he belongs to a religion, caste or region?

If the state government would bring in foreign doctors to save an 86 year old BABA, or an MLA from Old city, why cant they provide the minimum vaccine, without asking questions?

I as surprised to know the level of granularity they work on to give the vaccine.

1. what type of DOG bit you?
2. Is the DOG having too much of secretion from its mouth?
3. Are you sure that the DOG is mad?
4. What race does it belong to? etc...

How can a poor lady or a poor 6 year old kid know about these details? If the vaccination is preventive, is it not supposed to be given to every individual who gets bitten?

Why should we follow criteria, when we are providing vaccination?

Minister would announce that they feel bad for the death and will give 2,00,000.00 rupees for the loss. How many MLA's will have their kids bitten by dog, and I would give 2,00,000 rupees irrespective of the death, to each of the families, who would get their kids bitten by mad DOG.

I saw an interview, which says that the government hospitals are under staffed. the hospital has only 1 doctor and one nurse.

What moral responsibility does the junior doctors have when these issues are taking place and they are fighting for a raise in salaries.

Our culture says to respect doctors as gods. If GODS are this way, its very likely that people will turn like me as atheists.

If the Government promises that it could not take care of these things due to the lack of finances and they are willing to streamline the whole health system, I am sure that ME along with my friends and other NRI's will be able to raise a lot of money.

Charity is good, but the thought is scared, when we notice the kind of responsibility the government and people have towards each other.
